I’m New Here

First time visiting St. Luke UCC?  Welcome!  Here are some friendly tips.

“What should I wear?”

Wear whatever you wish!  Most of us dress comfortably in “business casual” attire.

Entering the Sanctuary

The front door of the church is on the South Street side of the building.  This door will lead you to the sanctuary.

The handicapped accessible entrance is on the corner of South Street and S. 14th Street.  Please find any member and we will be glad to assist you with the chair lift.

The worship service at St. Luke UCC is approximately an hour long.  The church offers a traditional service using the liturgy of the United Church of Christ.  Children and youth are invited to worship with their families.

Holy Communion is offered during worship on the first Sunday of each month.  We offer bread and wafers and also both wine (white) and grape juice (red).  St. Luke UCC welcomes to the Communion table all who wish to know the presence of Christ.

Sunday School

During the school year we offer Sunday School for all ages every Sunday.  The Adult Forum gathers at 9:15 am.  Children & Youth Sunday School begins at 9:30 am.

Ways to Get Involved

Please sign our guest registry near the greeters at the front entrance when you visit.

Also, please sign our pew pads (located on the aisle-side of the pews) during worship.  If you leave your phone number or email address, we will contact you to answer any questions you might have about St. Luke UCC.

Should you wish to learn more about becoming a member of St. Luke UCC, please introduce yourself to the pastor.

We welcome you wherever you are on life’s journey.
